DOWNLOADThe Chief Product Owner makes the day-to-day business decisions in the case of large projects with numerous Scrum Teams and multiple Product Owners. The Chief Product Owner prepares and maintains the overall Prioritized Product Backlog for the large project, using it to coordinate work through the Product Owners of the Scrum Teams. The Chief Product Owner will be responsible for the final deliverable of the project. Apart from making final business decisions, the Chief Product Owner collaborates with the Chief Scrum Master, other Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to develop a list of components and resources needed in common for all the teams throughout the project. Applicants will be awarded the Scaled Scrum Product Owner Certified (SSPOC™) certificate by SCRUMstudy upon successfully passing the certification exam.
SCRUMstudy™'s online live proctored exams allow you to take your certification exams from the comfort of your home using a webcam and a reliable internet connection. You will receive your exam results immediately after you have submitted your completed exam.
Exam Format:
- Multiple choice
- 70 questions per exam
- No negative marks for wrong answers
- 90 minutes duration
- Proctored online exam
Upon successful completion of the exam you will get an online certificate. Your name will be added to the SCRUMstudy™ Certification Registry.
If you are unable to pass the exam, you can schedule again and take a maximum of two Free Exam Retakes.
The cost of exam is included in the course fee.
Recertification: the SCRUMstudy™ certificate should be renewed within three calendar years of its issue date. You can renew his/her certificate in the following ways:
- Recertification examination: A Recertification course is not as extensive as the Certification course and consists of only half the exam questions. A student can pass the Recertification exam with just a few hours of study. A student passing the Recertification exam implies that the student has reviewed the latest concepts from the SBOK™ Guide. As such, all previous certifications of the student get renewed for 3 years from the date of passing this certification exam.
- SCRUMstudy™ certification examination: A student passing any other SCRUMstudy™ certification exam implies that he/she has reviewed the latest concepts from the SBOK™ Guide and fulfils the criteria for maintaining certification.
The Recertification Price: 80 USD, includes access to the Scaled Scrum Product Owner Certified - Recertification online course for 3 months.

This certification course is suitable for anyone who is interested in becoming a Chief Scrum Product Owner.
There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is recommended that you undertake SPOC™ Course to better understand the concepts required for SSPOC™ certification exam.
