The ITIL Intermediate Release, Control, and Validation (RCV) certification will showcase your expertise in planning, testing, and implementing new services to meet organizational goals and user requirements. This training module validates your knowledge of best practices in service management.

To be eligible for the examination leading to the ITIL RCV Certificate, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Undertake at least 30 contact hours (hours of instruction, excluding breaks) with an Accredited Training Organization (ATO) or an accredited e-learning solution for this syllabus as part of a formal, approved training program.
- Two to four years of professional experience working in IT service management is highly desirable
- Hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (or other appropriate earlier ITIL and bridge qualifications).
- It is also recommended that candidates complete a minimum of 12 hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the pertinent areas within the ITIL Service Transition and ITIL Service Operation core guidance in preparation for the examination, specifically Chapter 2: Service Management as a Practice.

After successful completion of the training, you will be awarded the course completion certificate along with 19 PDUs. Once you successfully pass the exam, you will receive the official certification from the exam body.

To be able to unlock the course certificate, you must complete 85% of the course.

Your exam voucher fee is included in the price of this course. However, you must procure the exam voucher within six months from the date of course purchase. Exam vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.

The target group of the ITIL Intermediate RCV Certificate includes operational staff involved in change management, release and deployment management, service validation and testing, service asset and configuration management, request fulfillment, change evaluation and knowledge management, and for those who wish to enhance their role-based capabilities.

To be eligible for the examination leading to the ITIL RCV Certificate, you should take the training with an accredited training organization. You should also hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (or other appropriate earlier ITIL and bridge qualifications). It is highly recommended that you have two to four years of professional experience working in IT service management.

The ITIL Intermediate RCV Certification will demonstrate your competency in the release, control, and validation of IT services to potential global employers. In this course, you will learn to master the principles, objectives, processes, methods, and functions employed in RCV and the ways in which they are integrated into the service lifecycle.
